Diablo IV - Light's Watch Dungeon |
The Light's Watch is one of the dungeons/instances you can visit in Diablo IV. Once you enter a dungeon you're either alone or together with your other party members. So these are not part of the open world. In the dungeons I've seen so far you'll usually have to activate a couple of things to make the boss spawn or to open the doors leading to the boss.
The interesting bit about the dungeons is that you of course get loot, but you'll also gain access to new 'Aspects'. Aspects can be imprinted onto equipment. However the aspects are sometimes for a specific class and sometimes usuable by all classes.. In the Light's Watch you get the "Aspect of Conflagration " for the Sorcerer class, which boosts your Incinerate skill. If you want to get aspects for your class you can check the available dungeons on the world map. There it tells you the class you'll get an aspect for after finishing the dungeon. |

Faith in Blood is one of the sidequests in Diablo IV and shows how much work Blizzard put into some of the quests. Faith in Blood is the end of a longer storyline where you help Sister Octiavia to exorcise demons. In the end the good sister herself is possessed by a demon and it is the players duty to get the necessary tools to help her. After that the player has to perform an exorcising ritual and finally defeat the demon who is possessing Octavia. |

Diablo IV - World Boss - Ashava the Pestilent |
Ashava the Pestilent is the only available world boss during the Diablo IV beta events. And most likely also the first world boss players can encounter in the final game. The world boss only spawned at specific times. I assume this will also be the case in the final game. As you can see the fight was pretty tough and many players dies and respawned multiple times. But the fight was still an interesting one because Ashava attcks differently after losing more and more health. |

Diablo IV - 1,5h Gameplay |
I recorded a lot of gameplay from the last Diablo IV Beta weekend and decided to put some of the parts together into one video. This shows roughly 1,5h of gameplay directly from the beginning of the game.
Unfortunatelly I did have some sound & video problems while recording, so they have been recorded as well. This gameplay material is from the Friday, 17th of March 2023. I encountered many problems including lag and runnerbanding on Friday. Most of the problems were gone on Saturday so I assume that Blizzard fixed these over the night to Saturday. |
